This Privacy Policy explains how On The Record ("we," "us") handles information in connection with the On The Record Publisher app (the "App") and this website. The App is an internal publishing tool used only by the operator of the TikTok account @ontherecord.clips.

1. Information the App collects

When the account owner authorizes the App through TikTok Login Kit, TikTok provides the App with:

• The TikTok account's open ID, display name, and avatar (scope: user.info.basic)
• OAuth access and refresh tokens that allow the App to upload videos (scopes: video.upload, video.publish)

The App does not collect passwords, contacts, messages, followers' data, location, payment information, or any data about TikTok users other than the authorizing account.

2. How we use information

We use this information only to:

• Confirm which TikTok account the App is connected to
• Upload video clips and captions to that account, as drafts or as posts, at the account owner's direction
• Check the status of uploads

We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.

3. Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share the information with third parties. Video files and captions are sent only to TikTok through its official API so they can be published.

4. Storage and security

Tokens are stored encrypted on the operator's private systems and are never published or sent to anyone other than TikTok. Access is limited to the operator.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep tokens only while the App is connected. You can revoke the App's access at any time in TikTok under Settings and privacy, then Security, then Apps and services (menu names may vary by app version). After access is revoked or on request, we delete stored tokens and account identifiers within 30 days. To request deletion, email CONTACT_EMAIL.

6. Website visitors

This website does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking, and does not collect personal information from visitors.

7. Children

The App and this website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

8. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above.
