On The Record
Short, neutral clips from U.S. congressional hearings and floor proceedings, with the source credited on every clip.
Watch on TikTokWhat we publish
We cut short vertical clips from public U.S. government recordings, including official House and Senate committee broadcasts and floor proceedings. Each clip shows who is speaking, which committee, and the date, and links back to the original recording.
About the On The Record Publisher app
The On The Record Publisher app is an internal tool used only by the operator of the @ontherecord.clips account. It connects to TikTok through TikTok's official Login Kit and Content Posting API to upload clips to that account. It is not offered to the public and does not access other users' accounts.
Independence
On The Record is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of the U.S. Congress, any member of Congress, any political party, or any government agency.
